The responsibilities of the Bavarian Revenue Agency include providing support to regional tax offices. Among other jobs, the Bavarian Revenue Agency handles the mailing of tax forms and is subject to strong cost pressure exerted from the public sector.

As far back as 1995, the Bavarian Revenue Agency put its trust in arvato services and outsourced its responsibility for mailing tax forms. After employees of the Bavarian Revenue Agency and an arvato representative hold an initial meeting, the transferred data are selected according to pre-determined mailing groups and arranged into automatic processing groups in accordance with requirements of the Bavarian Revenue Agency’s specially designed database.

The Bavarian Revenue Agency provides the prepress files – and arvato services handles all other tasks.
